It’s confirmed, Sam Raimi’s cult horror classic The Evil Dead is alive again! The remake will not be a fourth instalment, but rather a remake of the original movie. Frederica Alvarez who directed the low budget sci-fi Panic Attack is set to direct.
Filming is set in Detroit, with long-term Raimi collaborator Bob Murawski confirming that it will be a small indie type of movie like the first two, not a big blockbuster budget remake like were used to seeing (thank the lord for that)…….No news on who is to star in this remake but I hope the naughty tree sprouts back for another go (I will say no more)!
