Eli Roth the gorgasm master or as I refer to him as “Quentin’s sidekick” is set to step behind the camera for the new horror flick “The Green Inferno”. Is it just me or is that a really non scary title for a movie?
Worldview Entertainment has signed on to finance and produce the new film, you might remember Eli from his Hostel and Cabin Fever movies. The Green Inferno will start shooting later this year in Peru, not much has been said about the storyline for The Green Inferno, but the Director has mentioned that the movie was inspired by recent events in Chile.
Here is what the man himself had to say about his new movie “”I’ve had an amazing few years producing, writing and acting, and am very excited to get back in the director’s chair. I’ve been working on this idea for several years, and was inspired by filming in Chile and cannot wait to get back. Worldview backs my vision and believes in me, and is giving me the support I need and the freedom to take risks and make something daring and terrifying. I believe this will be the scariest and most intense film I have made to date. I want to audiences worldwide to feel my return to directing was worth the wait.”
If you say so Eli, let’s hope the movie is scarier than its title?
